Who Can Apply for the General Scholarship?

The General Scholarship is available to students who have completed Class 12, an equivalent examination or a diploma.

To apply, the student must have scored at least 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA in the academic year 2023–24, 2024–25 or 2025–26. The applicant must also have taken admission during the 2026–27 academic year in the first year of an eligible course.

• Intermediate education

The institution must be recognised by the government. The annual income of the parents or guardian must not be more than ₹4,50,000 from all sources.

How Much Scholarship Will Students Receive?

How Long Will the LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Continue?

Medical and engineering students must obtain at least 55% marks or equivalent SGPA/CGPA in the previous semester or annual examination. Students pursuing graduation and other covered courses must score at least 50%.

Special Scholarship students also need at least 50% marks in their first annual examination. All students must pass every subject and maintain regular attendance. The scholarship may be discontinued if a student fails a subject or does not meet the required marks.
